The Future Energy Technologies 2023 call for proposals is dedicated to important topics in the energy sector and is intended to generate new knowledge with targeted focal points in order to ensure the competitiveness of Upper Austria as a business and research location in the future.
What is funded?
Projects can be submitted on the following topics:
– Energy generation technologies
– Integrated energy systems, transport and storage
– Simulation and modeling of energy systems
Who is eligible for funding?
Target groups are Upper Austrian companies, universities, research institutions and other actors contributing to the goals of the energy transition.
How much funding is available?
Approximately EUR 3 million is available for the Future Energy Technologies call 2023 of the province of Upper Austria.
Funding of at least 100,000 EURO to a maximum of 600,000 EURO is possible per project. The funding rate depends on the type of organization of the individual partners (KU, MU, GU, research institution, …) as well as on the research category and amounts to a maximum of 85%. What are the submission criteria?
Cooperative R&D projects must fulfill the cooperation requirement according to the call guide. The project duration may be a maximum of 36 months and the funding ranges from 100,000 to a maximum of 600,000 euros. The project location is Upper Austria.
What do I need for a submission?
The submission takes place online via eCall and must be made by 14 September 2023, 12:00:00 at the latest.
When will there be a decision?
A funding decision is expected by November 2023.
