We need to talk about data-driven technologies and the use of data.
How can we use data more intelligently? And how can we use it to further develop a data service ecosystem in Austria and Europe?
To discuss these and more questions, the Austrian Data Day (ADD) will take place for the second time at Imagine22.
Organised by the Data Intelligence Offensive (DIO), the ADD focuses on the challenges of our time in the area of the digital turn.

Austrian Data Day for Data Service Ecosystems
The data economy is a powerful driver for innovation. Portability, interoperability, sovereignty and transparency are all issues that need to be addressed. Various initiatives such as Gaia-X and the International Data Space Association (IDSA) have made it their task to establish a uniform standard for data sharing and infrastructure in the form of architectural models and to anchor the issue of data sovereignty in order to meet this need.
DIO is working daily to anchor these very standards in Austria as well. In Data Spaces and Data Circles, data is made available for potential innovative services while maintaining the greatest possible control and sovereignty in order to exploit the full innovation potential of data.
The Austrian Data Day aims to provide education here as well as highlight current developments and opportunities for cooperation.
