Cloud-to-edge federations and data spaces made simple<\/h2>\n

SIMPL is the smart middleware that will enable cloud-to-edge federations and support all major data initiatives funded by the European Commission.<\/p>\n

SIMPL is not a replacement for Gaia-X. Actually the opposite. It is an opportunity to implement all the existing, and still missing, elements of the Gaia-X Framework exploiting a publicly funded project.<\/p>\n

The activities to create a SIMPL consortium have already started last year and are ongoing. Several members are preparing a proposal, based on the strongest commitment to reuse and develop the Gaia-X Framework components. Only Gaia-X members can be part of the consortium.<\/p>\n

Accelerating industrialisation and evolution of GAIA-X framework components<\/h3>\n

The three elements of the tender \u2013 SIMPL-Open, SIMPL-Lab, and SIMPL-Live, strongly reflect the Gaia-X Framework, the Gaia-X projects, and the Gaia-X Digital Clearing House concepts. The awarded consortium will help Gaia-X accelerate the industrialisation and evolution of our framework components to boost the Market Adoption to a next level.<\/p>\n

Call for Tenders<\/h2>\n

The Call for Tenders was launched on 24 February 2023. All information is available at\u00a0TED eTendering<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0including on how to ask questions about the tendering process.<\/p>\n

The deadline for submissions<\/strong> is 24 April 2023<\/strong> at 17:00 (Brussels time)!<\/p>\n

Any request for additional information about the Call for Tenders must be made in writing only through\u00a0TED eTendering website<\/a>\u00a0in the “Questions & Answers” tab, by clicking “Create a question” (registration on TED eTendering is required to be able to create and submit a question).<\/p>\n
