The Data Intelligence Initiative (DIO) embarked on a new exiting journey in a funded project called <\/span><\/span>AI-CENTIVE<\/span>. Th<\/span>e <\/span>projects’<\/span> goal is<\/span><\/span> to anticipate citizens mobility needs when moving between locations in Austria<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Together with our strong partners, we will be working on <\/span><\/span>incentivizing sustainable mobility <\/span>behaviour<\/span> <\/span>and promote <\/span>the <\/span>most suitable environmentally friendly options as <\/span>an <\/span>alternative<\/span> to private cars.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The Data Intelligence Initiative (DIO) is proud to announce the <\/span>website<\/span><\/a> of the project AI-CENTIVE, funded by the FFG via the ICT of the Future program. The goal of the 3-year project is to build and manage a complex mobility data ecosystem which will support changing citizens\u2019 mobility behaviour towards choosing more sustainable options. It is an interdisciplinary project that combines data science, deep learning, weather prediction, information visualization and tourism management. The project is implemented in collaboration with <\/span>Modul Technology<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>webLyzard<\/span> technology<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>GeoSphere<\/span> Austria<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>ummadum<\/span><\/a>, and <\/span>BOKU<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

N<\/span>owadays the data on mobility choices is highly divided, as well as the context in which the decisions on sustainable\u00a0 mobility choices\u00a0 are taken. The aim of the project is to turn these decisions<\/span> into actionable information based on efficient AI modelling knowledge extraction. A common mobility data ecosystem will merge this data, allowing new AI models to learn anticipating mobility choices. This enables access for citizens to choose more environmentally friendly options of transportations when moving between locations in Austria. These customised incentives leveraging the AI predictions will motivate citizens to make more sustainable mobility choices. As such, AI-CENTIVE will contribute to Austria\u2019s achievement of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
